After a fun night seeing a friend performing at the King's Theatre...we woke to sunshine, calm sea and the need for a good breakfast. Walking along the seafront we eventually chanced on the Spinnaker Cafe. A small cafe ( seating about 26), with a clean crisply decorated interior offering all day food. We both chose the large full English.... excellent value for money, well cooked....not overly greasy, good quality ingredients. Around us we saw their sandwiches and breakfast wraps..all well presented and excellent value for money. If you are in Southsea, this is a must visit.
All the food was lovely and the gluten free menu exceptional. It was refreshing to find so many choices. Can highly recommend the homemade scone with clotted cream and jam. Will definitely return. Thank you.
Best coffee ever !!!! Bathrooms are amazing don’t get me started on how amazing breakfast was - the mushrooms done to perfection and the the price best value for money
Tiny little Cafe, real close to the port I arrived. Great view. Had me a proper Full English Breakfast, and loved every bit of it. Was a bit larger than I expected. My friends got the sandwhiches and they were giant, they looked so good one of us order another half sandwich after seeing it.
This place is absolutely awesome and spotlessly clean. The food is amazing, I have just had the best sandwich ever, sausage, bacon, egg, and mushroom. It was so big I needed a knife and fork to eat it. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. A truly pleasurable dining experience. Thank you for a wonderful start to the day. I will definitely be coming back the next time I am down from Yorkshire.
Nice good ole cafe. The service isn’t something amazing, the decor is simple and sweet and the food is darn tight average but what else can you expect from such a humble little spot? There were loads of staff who catered for lots of customers that frequent the cafe. The fried bread was a stand out! The price is also super reasonable.
First class service and food. We ordered 2x open sandwiches however they had run out of avocado due to being busy…. Expecting to have to make an alternate choice, the chef said he would go out to a local store for avocados.. the food and service here is excellent and for the chef to go out was above and beyond what was expected. Would highly recommend. Thank you Spinnaker cafe and staff.
truly remarkable service, johnny was an exceptional caterer and made sure everything was on top of during my visit. food was excellent and a testament to the kitchen staff. would definitely visit again
